ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
A former professional football player and his daughter worked to make a difference in downtown Albany.
Former Seahawks player Ricardo Lockette's 11-year-old daughter, Zion, had one birthday wish.
She wanted to feed the homeless like her father did after retiring from the gridiron.
"Everybody isn't blessed like me to wake up and get food out of the refrigerator any time they want," said Zion Lockette.
Zion and her father passed out bags full of toiletries and lunches to homeless people Saturday afternoon.
"It's a proud day as a dad and it shows me that your kids watch you more than you know," said Ricardo Lockette.
The Lockettes gave away 200 meals in total.
